On August 24th, attend this month's Healthy Homes Sustainability Series to learn a few simple and effective strategies to extend Calgary's growing season significantly, increase yields and produce more food than you ever thought possible.
Join Green Calgary in welcoming Jeffrey Casey of Casey's Heirloom Tomatoes & Urban Farm, beloved heirloom tomato grower, as he shares how he squeezes the most out of Southern Alberta's short growing season.
This session will begin at 7pm at the Hillhurst United Church in their Heritage Room - 1227 Kensington Close N.W. This session will run 90 minutes. A limited number of tickets will be sold with all proceeds going to support the non-profit, Green Calgary.
