Friends of ours are putting on what looks to be a really fun week-end workshop on alternative and natural building this upcoming week-end here in Calgary.
Here are the details:
WHAT: Hemp-Lime FUNdamental plastering workshop
WHEN: Sept 18th & 19th, 10-4 each day
COST: $149 plus GST
We have been plastering for thousands of years, but each plaster technique varies to the situation you are in. Come look at a new plastering material Hemp-Lime. Learn and work on an actual Hempcrete Eco-Pod.
Hemp-Lime FUNdamental is a course for home owners, professional contractors, artists and students. It covers basic plastering techniques and prepares you for a successful Hemp-Lime project, from start to finish, whether the project is small or large.
In this two-day workshop you will learn how Hemp-Lime, it’s uses and have an opportunity to use the ‘Hemp-Lime’ plaster both inside and outside.
