Phewwww! After a very long five days we are finally back up and running!

Our website has been down. Its a long story - and has to do with Shaw (the internet provider) accidentally severing the connection of our webhost provider. Compounding with the holiday week-end this took much longer to fix than it should have.

In the end, it was our own fault and a good lesson in what it takes for resilience. Hmmm... you would think that we would know that resilience is a function of the number of meaningful connections in the system and functions should be supported by multiple elements (a key permaculture principle!). But alas, we had only one server and webhost provider for a very key and essential function - our website! 

In short we learned a really valuable lesson in design of our business systems.  Going forward we are going to have multiple servers to make sure that we don't have this issue again.
