September 2010 Open Yard

One evening a month during the Spring, Summer and Fall we open our yard to visitors. 

However, because our yard is not very big and we want to ensure a good experience for all attendees, we require that folks RSVP and limit the number of participants to fifty.

Come and see our urban transformation project, young food forest, water harvesting, and compost making. Chat with Rob or Michelle about permaculture, energy efficiency, growing food or just come have a cup of tea. As the summer progresses, check out other planned projects including a passive solar greenhouse, cob oven, setting up our rainwater collection and graywater filtration.

DATE & TIME: Tuesday, September 28th , 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

Please come anytime after 6:30 pm. From 6:30 to 7:30 Michelle & Rob will be available to chat and answer questions. At 7:30 we will coordinate a group tour. Open Yard ends at 8:30 pm.

LOCATION: Our home is about a 10 minute drive east of downtown Calgary. Our home address and directions will be sent to your email once you RSVP.
